WMRHS Donated Food Items for Project Homebound
WMRHS Donates to Project Homebound
Throughout the first two weeks of November, students and faculty at the White Mountains Regional High School collected food items and donations for Project Homebound. This year, the newly formed Spartan Advisory Council set a school-wide goal of 500 items, hoping to bring the school together for the good of the community. When the final count was tallied and the boxes were loaded, the Spartans had 620 items and $150 in cash donations. Many people donated, we wanted to thank all who did. From students, to teachers, to other community members, thank you from WMRHS.

Spartan STEAM Innovation Academy has 67 students in grades 9-12. Students have been working hard these first two months of school and have been diving into learning new things everyday. We are looking forward to where the projects and curiosity lead us this year.

We don’t know exactly what it’ll look like, or what their jobs will be, but there are a couple things we do know: We need to prepare students to be accountable for their learning and to be self-directed!
